Job Description:

This position serves as the Scrum Master for PolicyCenter andBillingCenter Team. The Scrum Master is responsible for leadingtheir team through the sprint process, managing the sprint process,coordinating activities with the Functional and IntegrationTracks. This position is also responsible for completing the analysis andinterpretation of business requirements into application andsystems design documentation for mid- to large-scale systemprojects and leading teams in these same activities. Also hasresponsibility for assisting in the coordination of functional,non-functional, and user acceptance testing and may provide thirdtier-production support of assigned systems.

Essential Functions:

? Team lead will lead their team through the sprint process tobuild and demonstrate the selected items for the sprint andcontinue to lead the team through the testing and stabilizationactivities. ? Manage the sprint process, product backlog (working incoordination with the Customer Product Owner and Guidewire ProductLead), and sprint backlog. ? Coordinate activities with the Customer Team Leads / ScrumMasters for their product track. ? Coordinate dependencies across Product Backlog for each sprintwith other Customer Team Leads / Scrum Masters. ? Facilitate the team meetings. ? Model ethical behavior and execute job responsibilities inaccordance with Citizens core values, ethics, and informationprotection policies. ? Lead discovery meetings with Business Analysts and businessrepresentatives to gather documentation related to businessprocesses, functional requirements and workflows for mid- tolarge-scale system development projects. ? Work with Business Analysts to interpret customer requirementsinto systems design documentation, utilizing Word, Visio diagrams,flowcharts, use-cases, swim lane diagrams, UML diagrams, prototypesand pseudo code or other established tools and techniques.

Inaddition:

? incumbents working as Integration Systems Analysts areresponsible for designing analytical models (BPEL/BPMN) andTechnical specifications (XSD/XSLT/XML/WSDL); ? Lead the tracking of changes to system requirements throughoutthe development, testing and maintenance lifecycle, maintainingaccurate documentation at all times. ? Maintain continuous communication with end users and developersthroughout the systems development lifecycle to ensure the finalproduct meets the requirements and expected outcomes of thecustomer, with respect to application, reporting and/or integrationfunctionality and presentation. ? Assist the Quality Assurance staff or functions in developing andexecuting test plan and scripts. ? Lead the development and maintenance of end-user manuals andsystems documentation. ? Provide subject matter expertise in the development of systemenhancements. ? Provide early notification of issues potentially affecting workflow efficiency, end user functionality, system interoperability,etc. ? Assist in retrieving information from application data sourcesfor end users. ? Analyze manual processes and recommend automated and alternativeprocess recommendations, identifying necessary triggers anddependent events. ? Research, evaluate and recommend technical solutions that mayinclude: commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software, customizedmessaging protocols, internal application development, datatransformations and migrations, and reporting solutions. ? Participate in development of corporate standards for BusinessDesign Documents (BDD), Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), andSystem Design Methodology (SDM). ? Provide mentoring and leadership to (standard) Systems Analystsas needed. ?
