Scrum Master Contract Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Scrum Master to join our team and lead Agile delivery across cross-functional teams. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and enabling teams to deliver high-quality products efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Coach team members on agile values, principles, and best practices. Work closely with Product Owners to ensure a well-groomed and prioritized backlog. Track team metrics (velocity, burn-down/up charts) and use data to drive continuous improvement. Identify and remove blockers that hinder team progress. Promote a collaborative team environment focused on high performance and innovation. Foster transparency, communication, and accountability across all Agile teams. Support agile adoption across the organization and contribute to the Agile Center of Excellence (if applicable).
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment. Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe). Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification. Experience working with tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
