Job Description
Genesis10 is seeking a Scrum Leader with our financial services client in Lake Mary, FL. This is a six-month hybrid contract to hire position requiring 3 days a week onsite.
Summary and responsibilities
Doing everything possible to ensure delighting customers
Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers
Guiding the team on how to get the most out of self-organization
Guiding the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks
Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable andfortable for the team and organization
Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
Building a trusting and safe environment w problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
Assisting with internal and externalmunication, improving transparency, and radiating information
Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example
Required skills
6-8 years of experience.
Deep knowledge and experience with agile ways of working​ Aligns teams to a d Platform strategy to ensure delivery of Platform level roadmaps and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
Oversee the agile development process and coaches the Pod team members; facilitate transparency, inspection and adaptation​. Work together with RTEs and Scrum Leads to escalate and track platform level impediments and manage risks and dependencies ​
Removes development impediments (e.g., Pod teammunication barriers, logistic challenges). Promote self-organization, empowerment, innovative thinking and self-development
Confluence, Jira, PPM
Prior experience working in technology with stakeholders and collaborating well within a team environment. Pod team structure.
Fast paced, and must be proactive
Experience with daily interaction with VP up to Director level
Bachelor’s degree
Preferred skills
Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) or Agile Certified Scrum Master
This position pays $54/hr -$56/hr W2 depending on experience
