Job Summary:
Project Details:
Facilitating Scrum Events:
o Leading and facilitating Scrum events like Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Story Grooming, Demos, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
o Ensuring these events are effective and focused on achieving team goals.
Removing Impediments:
o Identifying and removing obstacles that hinder the team’s progress.
o Acting as a liaison between the Scrum team and external stakeholders to address issues, including initiative Kickoffs, feedback loops and progress discussions.
Coaching and Mentoring:
o Coaching the Scrum team and the wider organization on Scrum theory and practice.
o Helping the team understand and adopt Agile principles and best practices.
Promoting Self-Organization:
o Empowering the team to self-organize and make decisions about their work.
o Fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Ensuring Adherence to
Scrum Framework:
o Identifying areas for improvement in the team’s workflow and processes.
o Experimenting with new approaches and practices to enhance team performance.
- Serving as a
Liaison:
o Acting as a bridge between the Scrum team and other stakeholders, including product owners and management.
o Communicating the team’s progress and challenges effectively.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master and/or Business Analyst in an IT environment.
- Proficient in using Agility or similar agile project management tools.
- Solid understanding of Agile principles and frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical deliverables.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with airline operations or travel industry IT systems is a plus.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
