Job Title:

Senior Scrum Master / Project Manager (Hybrid, Contract)

Hybrid (In-office 3 days/week, likely Tuesday-Thursday)

12+ month contract with likelihood of extension

Job Overview:

A dynamic opportunity for a Senior Scrum Master / Project Manager to lead the delivery of a capital engineering project. This role blends Agile leadership with traditional project management, ideal for a Certified Scrum Master experienced in managing complex initiatives and working cross-functionally with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion. Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups and PI planning. Run and maintain Jira boards; ensure sprint goals are met. Deliver capital project status updates and executive-level reports in PowerPoint. Track and manage risks, issues, change requests, and scope. Provide day-to-day direction to project team members. Establish and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders. Support change management throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Bachelor’s degree. 5+ years of senior-level project or program management experience. Hands-on experience with Jira (including board setup and management). Strong PowerPoint skills for status reporting and presentations. Familiarity with project portfolio management (PPM) tools (proprietary tool experience is a plus). Strong understanding of Agile frameworks with hybrid (Agile + traditional) project experience.

Soft Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confident presenting to leadership and executive teams. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
