Scrum Master
Need Scrum Master local to Atlanta who will go work 5 days a week at client s Alpharetta GA location.

Must be in Alpharetta, GA based.

Position Summary:

The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating Agile practices and ensuring the effective implementation of Scrum methodologies within the team. This role involves guiding the team through Scrum events, removing impediments, and fostering a collaborative environment to enhance productivity and quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products..

Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate Scrum Events:

Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Remove Impediments:

Identify and address any obstacles that may hinder the team’s progress and work to remove them.
Coach the

Team:

Provide guidance and support to the team on Agile practices and principles, helping them to self-organize and work efficiently.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with product owners, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.

Continuous Improvement:

Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging the team to reflect on their processes and make necessary adjustments.

Performance Monitoring:

Track and report on key metrics to measure the team’s performance and identify areas for improvement.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile coaches to ensure consistency and alignment across teams.

Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Background:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

Experience:

5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within an Agile environment.

Agile Knowledge:

Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices, particularly Scrum.
Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address issues that may impact the team’s progress.

Leadership Skills:

Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Financial Crime Compliance Knowledge:

Familiarity with financial crime compliance (e.g., BSA, AML) and related regulatory frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications:

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or similar Agile certifications.

Technical Proficiency:

Familiarity with software development processes and technologies.
Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.

Industry Experience:

Prior experience working in a technology-driven environment, preferably within software development or IT services.

Advanced Education:

A master s degree in a related field is a plus.
