: Release Train Engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION

: Takeda Pharmaceuticals America, Inc. isseeking a Release Train Engineer with the following duties: leadthe Agile cadence, ensuring participation from team members and keystakeholders across the ART. Lead multiple functional Agile teamswithin the ART, from backlog grooming and planning activitiesthrough development, testing, and release deployment withresponsibility for all aspects of a team’s productivity. Establishand communicate calendars for sprints and deployments. Establishcommon reporting, metrics, and work management tools (JIRA, TargetProcess, Miro) across teams. Maintain visual progress metricsindicating velocity, burndown, etc. Facilitate Program Increment(PI) Planning readiness and execution. Assist in tracking theexecution of features across teams. Facilitate scaling meetings(scrum of scrum, product owner sync, overall retrospectives,solution demos). Collaborate with product and technology teams toensure the product vision translates into a workable roadmap thatis executable across the program. Oversee and ensure PI planningreadiness product vision and roadmap, architectural runway,backlogs, business value assessments, and event logistics. Manage,escalate, and drive resolution of program risks and dependencieswith key stakeholders, product leadership, scrum teams, systemteams and program stakeholders. Coach and mentor the program andorganizational leaders on SAFe, Agile, Lean, and Scrum practices,principles, and mindsets to optimize the output of valuable workingsoftware. Up to 2% domestic and international travel required. 100%remote work permitted.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in ComputerScience, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years ofrelated experience.

Prior experience must include:

guide teams inimplementing and estimating the work associated with MicroservicesArchitecture and System design and database concepts that servesthe program better in estimating, decomposing and planning; applySystem and Design thinking practices along with standardizing theAgile practices at the Solution Train and Release Train level;refine the value streams and enabling practices to measure valuegenerated against the work completed using tools like OKR’s andKPI’s; establish governance for entire Release train and conductART ceremonies including PI Planning. Coach Agile practitioners andbest practices that are scalable. Full time. $137,000 to $234,800per year. Competitive compensation and benefits.
