Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing and deploying secure multi-patented data sharing technologies between all lines of business and external entities
Responsible for optimizing the flow of stories and the value delivered by one or more Scrum teams
Coordinate and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, managing dependencies for the team, providing visibility into team delivery plans and progress, enabling continuous improvement within the team
Ensure the impediments are resolved quickly, the team follows their agreed-to processes, and that t is a good relationship between the Product Owner and the development team
Act as an Agile Coach, promoting and coaching the Agile mindset and principles, empowering the team to be self-managing and fulfill their cross-functional potential
Guide and coach one or more teams on Scrum practices, and develop their understanding of Agile principles
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies i.e. S Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, S Demos/Reviews, and S Retrospectives.
In a Scaled Agile model, facilitate scaled planning for the team – e.g. Pre Planning/ Preparation, PI Planning Events – and represents the team in Scrum of Scrums/ART Syncs the team define norms/agreements, like a Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, and enforces the agreements
Ensure the team has a healthy product and S backlog (in collaboration with the PO)
Promote/facilitatemunication and collaboration within the Agile team to support value delivery and Smitments
Provide visibility into the Agile teams delivery plans and progress against plan to stakeholders
Enable the team to be high performing through collaboration and a relentless focus on continuous improvement including cross-skilling across the team
Measure team delivery, maturity, and performance and review the metrics with the team to identify improvement opportunities
Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the tea

Requirements:

2 + year experience as a Scrum Master
Experience with Agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, and team accountability
Experience with implementation and release management activities
Experience with implementation and release management activities
Good analytic skills, flexibility and the ability to adapt to emerging technologies and tools
Desired skills:
Certified Agile Scrum Master (SAFe)
1+ year experience with JIRA (Jira Administrator is beneficial)
Pay range: $63.94 – $71.94
