Scrum Master

Job Description:
Pay Range:

$50hr – $55hr

Responsibilities:
Facilitate Scrum Events:

Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Coach and Candidatetor:

Provide guidance and support to team members on Agile practices and principles, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Remove Impediments:

Identify and resolve obstacles that hinder the team’s progress, ensuring smooth and efficient project execution.
CollaboXX with

Stakeholders:

Work closely with product owners, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and priorities.

Monitor and Report:

Track team performance metrics, project progress, and deliverables, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Promote Agile Practices:

Advocate for Agile methodologies within the organization, helping to drive Agile transformation and maturity.

Conflict Resolution:

Address and resolve conflicts within the team, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.

Continuous Improvement:

Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives, helping the team to enhance their processes and practices.

Experience:

10-15 years of experience in an Agile development environment, with at least 5 years as a Scrum Master.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

Certifications:

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is required. Advanced certifications such as Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of software development processes and technologies. Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.

Leadership Skills:

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve their best.

Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical solutions.

Agile Tools:

Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.
