Summary We are seeking a Scrum Master to join our team. The person must be a SME in healthcare operations (value-based care/managed care) OR software development to help lead a remote team of onshore developers. We are looking for someone to bridge the gap between operations and the tech team so we can continue to innovate and create tools so primary care doctors will be there for us in the future (if you follow medicine you know this is a serious national problem!) Responsibilities Lead cross-functional project teams , including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure the team operates efficiently and effectively. Act as a liaison between the development team, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals, including gathering requirements, defining project scope, writing BRDs Manage Azure DevOps use maintaining sprint boards, queries, dashboards, and reporting Proactively identify and resolve roadblocks, escalating issues as needed to keep the team moving forward Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets while ensuring adherence to quality standards. Facilitate user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet the needs of product owners and stakeholders Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to leadership. Identify , document and monitor risks and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes Foster a culture of continuous improvement by integrating feedback into future projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related healthcare operations discipline such as business, public health, healthcare administration Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in healthcare technology, utilizing heavy data (claims data, EHR, clinical labs, radiology, etc.) Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders OR vice versa (the ability to communicate complex healthcare data and workflows to technical Dev team) Proficiency in Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, DevOps or similar project management software Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships at the C-Suite level.
