Overview The Digital Transformation SME will support AFCENT’s Digital Transformation team in its efforts to change its business information technology and business processes. The successful individual will have relevant experience in enterprise analysis, requirements analysis, solution assessment and validation techniques, and can quickly adapt to our custom Agile framework. The Digital Transformation SME will be responsible for partnering and collaborating with internal team members and stakeholders to capture, communicate, and manage all requirements to enable efficient, incremental project delivery. What will you do? Solicit, understand, and document the client’s business requirements, processes, and workflows.
Must have Business Process experience and the ability to analyze and adapt processes for establishing across different technical organizations.
Must have relevant experience in enterprises analysis, requirements analysis and solution assessment and validation techniques, and can quickly adapt to our custom Agile framework.
Work with a team to analyze business requirements for delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
Analyzes the organization’s business requirements and assists in design and development activities.
Define and document acceptance criteria that will be used by the team.
Authoring programmatic documents, operating instructions, and success stories.
Performing technical writing and other related duties.
Ability to translate technical information and concepts into non-technical language.
Develop and maintain a trusted partnership with the stakeholders.
Ability to identify, prioritize, and execute tasks and meet commitments Do you have what it takes?
Qualifications:
Master’s degree w/ 12 years’ experience or Bachelor’s degree w/ 15 years’ experience
Proficiency in MS 365 Suite
Strong understanding of business analysis principles and Agile/Scrum frameworks
Experience and/or knowledge of cloud-based architectures (Jira, GitLab, Azure)
Experience working with a no/low code system (power apps, power automate, Nintex, etc.)
Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and tools (Confluence, JIRA, DevOps, etc.) preferred.
Ability to evaluate, develop, and deliver Business Use Case (as-is), Business Use Case (to-be), business process flow diagrams, and value streams.
Ability to plan and organize in complex, fast-paced environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to be on-site at Shaw Air Force Base one week per month (5 duty days)
