RegularYour opportunityWe are looking for anApplication Engineer to join the Trading team in the delivery ofhigh throughput, low latency solutions.

• The role will be part ofone of our Sprint based Agile teams that is currently playing adual role of supporting the existing Trading platform whilebuilding out our to-be architecture.
• We will be building Schwab’sfuture trading platform and you will design, build, and deploysoftware to support all of Schwab’s trading.

Implements and enhance the testing automation frameworkfor web services, APIs, and web-based applications.

Develop,execute, and maintain automation tests cases and test scenarios

• for high volume, low latency web and backend applications.

Ensureautomation is constantly running, analyzing, documenting, andpromptly reporting on failures.

Partner with scrum team members tobuild out automation solutions to advance Schwab SDLCs and meetingcritical business objectives.

Write and execute performance and loadtests for multiple applications to measure scalability andstability.

Design test cases and test plans for given acceptancecriteria.

Coordinate with scrum team members, Product Owners andScrum Masters to integrate project plans, testing schedules, andmetrics reporting.

Understand the application architecture, hostinginfrastructure, interaction with dependency apps and completefeature workflow to assess all the risk around integration pointsbefore developing good test cases.

Provide complete testing coverageincluding manual testing when automation is not possibleEvaluatesbusiness and software industry trends and suggests improvements toprocesses, products, and servicesA willingness to learn and grow isa must. Team player with strong collaborative qualities and apositive demeanorAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentacross multiple time zones and locationsWhat you haveBachelor’sDegree in Computer Science or related field OR related practicalexperience10+ years of enterprise technology related experience inapplication development using C# .

NET / .NET

coreStrong knowledgein design patterns with hands on experienceExperience in messagingand services-based software, preferably in a cloud platform usingRabbitMQ, Kafka or equivalent technologiesExperience working in anycloud-based technologies like GCP, PCF or AWS etc.,Experience andstrong fundamental knowledge in one or more types of databasemanagement systems like Aerospike, SQL Server, and MongoDBetc.,Experience/knowledge with SCM (GitHub, GitHub Actions,Atlassian tools Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, etc.) and DevOps toolsuite is preferredExperience with test driven development preferred(Nunit, EasyMock etc.,)Experience with troubleshooting Productionissues through analysis of logs (Splunk), AppDynamics, ITRS,dashboards and metrics.

Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum Experienceadopting or managing continuous Integration and continuous deliveryconcepts and frameworks
