We are seeking a skilled Cloud Developer to join our team supporting the FBI Enterprise Security Operations Center. As a Cloud Developer, you will specialize in software development for cloud computing systems, designing, developing, and specifying cloud-based solutions that meet the FBI’s security and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement cloud-based software systems that meet the FBI’s security and compliance requirements, including adherence to Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS), DOD guidelines, Software Engineering Institute standards, and commercial practices. Provide technical direction and guidance to the programming team, ensuring that cloud-based solutions are designed and developed with security and compliance in mind. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, architecture, and operations, to ensure that cloud-based solutions meet the FBI’s security and compliance requirements. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, and test plans. Participate in the development and implementation of cloud-based solutions, including migration to cloud environments, cloud infrastructure design, and cloud security architecture. Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud computing technologies, security standards, and compliance requirements, and apply this knowledge to improve cloud-based solutions.
Requirements:
Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI with CI Polygraph Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 4+ years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirements. Master’s degree may be substituted in lieu of 2+ years of experience . 3+ years of experience in cloud development, software engineering, or related field. Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps. Strong knowledge of security standards, including
FIPS, DOD
guidelines, and Software Engineering Institute standards. Experience with cloud security architecture, including identity and access management, data encryption, and cloud workload protection. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
