PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled and security-cleared Software Engineer•Developer to support the development of mission-critical systems for the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). Join a team at the forefront of aerospace innovation, w your code contributes directly to national security and global stability.
What You’ll Do
As a Software Engineer on this elite team, you will:
Design and develop Java-based mathematical algorithms formand and control systems
Support the full software development lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, and issue resolution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
Participate in software architecture and requirements development
Contribute to integration and test planning, execution, and documentation
Work 100% onsite in a secure, collaborative setting
Travel domestically up to 10% as needed
What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
9+ years of engineering experience (or 7+ with a Master’s, 4+ with a PhD)
Proficiency in Java or Java Spring
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Strong analytical,munication, andanizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience developingplex mathematical algorithms (e.g., tracking, guidance, radar management)
Ability to translate MATLAB-based algorithms into Java
Background in aerospace or defense software systems

Pay Details:

$75.51 to $79.54 per hour
