Systems, Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, AL(Hybrid). The candidate will primarily be responsible for leading a team and developing applications to support Integrated Mission Planning and Airspace Control Tools (IMPACT). The applicant should be able to demonstrate the ability to lead application design, development, testing, and documentation efforts. The selected candidate will be a member of a team providing software development and support to the AvMC Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration (S3I) Directorate.
Qualifications Required Experience:
Must possess a bachelors and nine (9) years experience; Additional six (6) years’ experience may be considered in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle).
Clearance Requirement:
Secret Security Clearance – US Citizenship required. An Interim Secret Security Clearance must be obtained prior to employment; a Secret Security Clearance must be obtained to maintain employment
Required Experience/Skills:
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills Self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player, stays well-informed of industry trends and sharpening skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Lead agile software development using methodologies like Scrum Proficient using tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or GitLab C#/.NET development using Visual Studio or VS Code HTML, JavaScript, CSS CI/CD pipelines, artifacts, and package feed
Desired Experience:
