OverviewProposal Solutions Architect:

Bowhead is seeking aProposal Solutions Architect to support the development oftechnical proposal content for Army and DoD opportunities,including EXPRESS and GSA Schedule responses. This is awriting-focused role that works closely with the Capture andTechnical Proposal Lead to shape and articulate clear, compelling,and technically accurate proposal responses.

The ideal candidate isa skilled communicator who understands Army mission sets and cancollaborate with subject matter experts to translate technicalinput into structured proposal language. They are detail-oriented,proactive, and comfortable managing writing assignments acrossmultiple efforts. This role requires someone who takes ownership oftasks, can meet fast-moving deadlines, and brings both curiosityand clarity to the proposal developmentprocess.

Responsibilities Draft and edit technical and management sections for Army andDoD proposals Collaborate with the Capture and Proposal Lead to developsolutions aligned with customer requirements Work with subject matter experts to gather, interpret, andintegrate technical content Translate complex concepts into clear, compliant, andcompelling written responses Ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance across all writtenproposal content Support the development of win themes, value propositions, andsolution narratives Contribute to compliance matrices and response outlines toalign with solicitation requirements Participate in internal reviews, incorporating feedback andrefining drafts as needed Research and incorporate relevant program, platform, or systemknowledge into proposal content Manage multiple writing assignments and support overlappingdeadlines across active proposals Other duties as assignedQualifications BA or BS degree in a related field 3-5 years of relevant experience or a combination of educationand experience Strong written communication skills with the ability to explaintechnical ideas clearly Familiarity with SOWs, RFPs, and RFIs Ability to work with technical staff to gather and organizecontent Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines Comfortable using Microsoft Word and collaboration tools likeSharePointExperience that sets you apart: Prior experience supporting proposals under the EXPRESS or GSASchedule contracts Working knowledge of Army weapon systems, platforms, or missionsets Familiarity with capture strategy or early-phase proposalshaping Previous collaboration with former military SMEs orengineersPhysical Demands Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts oftime Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

CLEARANCEREQUIREMENTS

There are currently no Security Clearancerequirements for this position; however, candidates must be able tosuccessfully pass a background check.
