Job Title:
Technician – Integration Engineering II – C
Location:
Huntsville, AL Job Responsibilities:
Conduct pressure tests on rocket engine components including valves, housings, manifolds, and combustion chambers
Identify root causes of non-conformance
Perform nitrogen and helium leak testing, environmental testing, hydrostatic proof testing, and water flow testing
Assemble test tooling and maintain test equipment inventory
Work safely with hazardous systems, chemicals, and high-pressure operations
Develop and implement manufacturing improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Skills Required:
0 to 8 years of experience in pressure systems and component testing
Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings
Extensive experience in understanding detailed work instructions and specifications
Proven track record in developing new processes
Strong written, personal, technical, and software skills (CAD, Scheduling, Issue Tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
Physical Requirements:
Ability to climb ladders and stairs
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. for limited durations
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when necessary
