Position Title:
Vacuum Thermal Integration Engineering Technician II (C Shift)
Position Description:
Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Vacuum Thermal Integration Engineering Technician opportunity with our client in Huntsville, AL.
Job Responsibilities:
Operation and maintenance of vacuum furnaces, sub-systems and ancillary equipment
Performance of Pyrometric testing and certification of vacuum furnace equipment.
Job Qualifications:
3+ years prior experience minimum in furnace or heat treat.
Must have understanding of vacuum system fundamentals and operation.
Experience thermally processing aerospace materials such as stainless steel, copper, nickel and cobalt alloys, and titanium wrought alloys, casting, and additive manufacturing.
Familiar with pre and post process testing such as hardness testing.
Familiar with performing vacuum furnace preventative maintenance.
