This contract requires expert management of software development, cybersecurity, training, and help desk functions to ensure continuous operation of a system that supports life-saving response efforts during emergency situations, including hurricanes, floods, wildfires, and other crisis events. The ENGLink Developer provides technical expertise to enhance a system that supports critical emergency management operations nationwide. Applicants with strong coding skills directly contribute to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ ability to respond effectively to disasters and emergencies. This role offers opportunities to work with diverse technologies in a meaningful environment where your contributions have direct impact on national emergency response capabilities.

Position Responsibilities:

Maintain and administer ENGLink utilization of MS Dynamics 365, Power Apps Platform, MS SQL Server and Oracle databases Write complex SQL queries and troubleshoot database issues Develop web applications using an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) such as MS Visual Studio Develop web applications integrated to back-end database servers Develop GIS-integrated features in web applications Respond to software bugs and provide solutions within two hours Maintain Development, Testing, Training, and Production environments Document changes to source code resulting from bug fixes Implement hosting environment requirements and guidance Analyze, plan, coordinate, configure and maintain data integration Provide design documents, flow-charts, wireframes, and mock-ups Participate in Scrum development methodologies Establish and maintain a feedback process for user input Follow Project Review Board requirements for reviewing inputs
