Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead MuleSoft Developer to support an enterprise-level integration and API development project. This is a hybrid role requiring local presence and occasional onsite work. The selected candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of MuleSoft APIs, support production processes, and integrate MuleSoft with Salesforce and other enterprise systems. You must be a proactive self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills, strong SOA architecture knowledge, and extensive experience in enterprise integration platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver API design and development using MuleSoft . Design, build, and manage data exchanges between applications and Salesforce using MuleSoft. Develop and support production-level MuleSoft processes for file imports/exports and systems integration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions. Analyze integration needs and propose solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards. Participate in all SDLC phases , creating technical documentation, conducting code reviews, and maintaining high development standards. Assist in migrating and integrating data from legacy systems to modern platforms. Apply object-oriented design principles , architectural patterns, and best practices for SOA. Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing and training sessions. Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, ServiceNow , and SharePoint for development, documentation, and support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 10+ years of professional software development experience. 5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience. (This is a strict requirement) Strong understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) (10+ years). 5+ years of experience integrating MuleSoft with Salesforce . Proficient in XSLT , SQL-to-XML queries , and relational databases (SQL Server and/or DB2). Expertise in integration protocols and Web Services (REST, SOAP, WCF) . Strong programming background in Java , .NET , C# , JavaScript , WCF , JQuery , XML , JSON , and WebAPI . Familiarity with DevOps tools , version control (Git/TFS), and deployment best practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to document and present solutions clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Azure Service Bus or other cloud messaging platforms. Familiarity with Kronos/UKG
WFM , SAP
Concur , Cornerstone LMS , Ntracts , or similar enterprise tools. Experience working in healthcare or public sector environments is a plus.
