Senior Software Development Engineer

Required Qualifications
Demonstrates a keen awareness of the member experience while seeking opportunities for automation and innovation to automate and optimize business operations
Ability to work with Data Science & Products team to understand operations workflow and requirements
Ability to understand and make design decisions on both UI and backend systems.
5+ years of experience with Big data and cloud architecture
5+ years of experience with SQL, NoSQL.
5+ years of experience with Python (or a comparable scripting language).
5+ years of experience with ETL/ELT, and building high-volume data pipelines.
5+ years of experience with Query optimization, data structures, transformation, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
3+ years experience building front end application using Angular Js, React, etc.
2+ years of hands-on experience building modern data pipelines within a major cloud platform (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure).
2+ years of experience with deployment/scaling of apps on containerized environment (i.e. Kubernetes, AKS) as well as on serverless compute services.
2+ years of experience with real-time and streaming technology (i.e. Azure Event Hubs, Azure Functions, Kafka, Spark Streaming).
3+ year(s) of soliciting complex requirements and managing relationships with key stakeholders.
2+ year(s) of experience independently managing deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience building applications using LLMs and Gen AI models
Experience in designing and building data engineering solutions in cloud environments (preferably Google Cloud Platform)
Experience of API/Microservices development
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipeline, and other DevOps principles/best practices
Understanding of software development methodologies including waterfall and agile.
Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams
Google Professional Data Engineer/Architect Certification
Experience with microservices and SOA
Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or related field required. Master’s Degree preferred.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$92,700.00 – $203,940.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
