Location US-CT-Groton Seat Location EB Poheganut Trade Engineering Shift 1st Security Clearance Required Secret Number of Openings 1 Overview The Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS) provides tools that enable employees to organize, search, and collaborate on documents and web content. The ECMS team is comprised of highly motivated developers, information architects, and content management analysts. Team members are responsible for the development of a robust technology platform and the creation of information management best practices. The ECMS team is looking for a Power Platform developer as the team migrates to M365. This role will focus on designing, developing, and implementing custom business solutions using Microsoft’s Power Platform suite, which includes Power Apps and Power Automate. This work requires the ability to develop an in-depth understanding of the Power Platform and SharePoint to meet the needs of diverse functional areas across EB. Electric Boat offers Flexible Work Arrangements that allow some work to be performed remotely and at home.

This varies from position to position. This specific position requires the ability to work remotely most days, and to report to EB facilities several times per week as work dictates.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business users to identify needs and translate them into functional Power Platform solutions
Connect Power Platform solutions with existing enterprise systems through APIs and connectors
Provide training and support to end users on how to utilize the developed Power Platform applications
Create automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline processes across different systems
Meet with relevant stakeholders to define and document user needs, project scope, and objectives
Define user requirements and analyze those requirements to determine the optimal solution
Collaborate with ECMS team members and stakeholders to plan and configure SharePoint sites
Create and maintain project schedule and related documentation
Ensure that projects are delivered on-time and manage changes to scope
Communicate status of work with stakeholders as needed
Follow established system governance and best practices
Define user requirements and analyze those requirements to determine the optimal solution
Collaborate with ECMS team members and stakeholders to plan and configure SharePoint sites
Create and maintain project schedule and related documentation
Ensure that projects are delivered on-time and manage changes to scope
Communicate status of work with stakeholders as needed

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science
0-4 years of relevant experience

Preferred:

2 years of SharePoint online experience
2 of experience in developing within the Power Platform Suite (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
Knowledge of website creation and set-up conventions
