Associate Architect P A Architect Inc. 5450 Griffin Road, Davie, FL 33314 Overview P A Architect Inc., a South Florida-based architecture firm located in Davie, is seeking a skilled and technically experienced Associate Architect to join our growing team. We specialize in high-end custom residential homes and a variety of commercial projects, producing complete architectural, structural, and MEP construction documents in-house. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills in construction documentation and plan coordination, who can work closely with drafters and senior staff. You will play a key role in ensuring quality, accuracy, and efficiency in project execution. Responsibilities Develop architectural, structural, and MEP construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit Review and coordinate plan sets across disciplines to ensure accuracy and code compliance Provide technical support and mentorship to drafting staff Conduct internal quality control reviews before submissions Collaborate with senior architect and project managers to meet design intent and deadlines Address plan revisions, redlines, and client-directed changes in a timely manner Ensure compliance with Florida Building Code (FBC), ADA standards, and local permitting regulations Help maintain drafting standards and organized workflows across multiple projects Experience Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required 5 to 10 years of architectural experience in a professional setting Strong understanding of residential estate-level design and light commercial projects Experience coordinating with structural and MEP disciplines preferred Familiarity with FBC, ADA, and South Florida permitting processes Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple active projects with attention to detail Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, or equivalent relevant experience Join our team and contribute to the delivery of custom-designed homes and impactful spaces across South Florida.
