Associate Architect Simon Architectural Pompano Beach, FL 33060 Overview We are seeking a talented and creative Associate Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design sensibility and technical expertise, with the ability to manage projects from conception through completion. As an Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping the built environment, working on a variety of projects that may include residential, commercial, and institutional designs. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and construction teams to ensure that designs are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and sustainable. Looking for long term employee to learn and grow Responsibilities Create detailed sketches and renderings using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Lumion 3D. Utilize AutoCAD for drafting and modeling architectural plans. Oversee the renovation of existing structures while ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations. Manage project timelines and budgets effectively while coordinating with construction management teams. Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address any issues that arise during construction. Prepare presentations for clients to communicate design ideas clearly and persuasively. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field. Proficiency in architectural design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, CAD. Strong sketching skills with the ability to visualize concepts effectively. Knowledge of construction management principles is preferred. A keen eye for detail along with strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
