  Big Data QA Engineer – Hadoop & Java

• Location:

  Jacksonville, FL or Charlotte, NC (Hybrid -3 days onsite per week)

• Position type: 12+ months with high possibility of extension/Conversion

• Job Description:

• Participate in the development and testing of architectural deliverables, including system assessments, design optimization, and review of user requirements.

Contribute to the evaluation of the technical and operational feasibility of proposed solutions. Develop system prototypes and collaborate with database administrators, operations teams, technical support, and other IT stakeholders throughout the development and testing lifecycle. Work closely with developers and testers to ensure that business requirements and functional designs are accurately translated into technical solutions. Ensure test plans and test scripts align with customer needs and quality expectations. A strong understanding of Cloudera Hadoop is required. Proficiency in Java and shell scripting is essential.
