This is a PRN position located at Baptist Metro Square. The Single Billing Office is seeking a Cash Application Specialist I to support their team. The candidate will support our Correspondence Team by scanning documents and indexing them into OnBase.

Shift Details:

PRN- as needed, no benefits position. Shift coverage would be Monday – Friday during normal business hours.

Cash Application Specialist I, Single Billing Office, Job Responsibilities:

Serves as a liaison for the Single Billing Office (SBO) Cash Applications Team within the SBO vertical which includes both hospital and professional cash. Processes all daily cash receipts. Analyzes the remittance to ensure payments are posted accurately. Reviews & reconciles undistributed and other payment error queues. Uses patient pay credit balance queues to apply credits or process refunds when appropriate. Preforms administrative support to process high volumes of correspondence. Understands either HB or PB while working toward competency in all areas of the SBO. Delivers the most remarkable patient experience, in every dimension, every time, related to how the proper handling of cash receipts impacts patients and their families.
