Lead Software Engineer Responsibilities:
Lead the technical development of backend services and APIs using .NET Core/.NET 6+. Design and implement RESTful APIs optimized for performance and scalability. Architect and deploy microservices adhering to the 12-factor app methodology. Implement containerized services using Docker/Kubernetes with best practices in orchestration. Utilize Azure Cloud services (App Services, Function Apps, Service Bus, SQL Database) for efficient system design. Guide the team in externalized configuration, secrets management (Azure Key Vault, App Config), and secure cloud integration. Ensure compliance with security best practices for sensitive data handling. Use standard schema management tools (Flyway, Liquibase, EF Migrations) for version control and database evolution. Optimize SQL-based data models to support scalable architectures. Lead backlog refinement, translating product requirements into technical tasks for execution. Support and mentor a team of engineers by reviewing code, solving complex issues, and making critical design decisions.
