About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Software Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions. As a key technical leader, you will work across teams to define system architecture, establish best practices, and guide the development of applications that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Design and architect end-to-end software solutions that meet business needs and technical requirements
Define and enforce software development standards, patterns, and best practices
Lead architectural reviews, code quality initiatives, and performance optimizations
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, DevOps, and stakeholders to align technology with business goals
Evaluate new technologies and frameworks, providing recommendations for adoption
Ensure software is secure, scalable, maintainable, and performant
Provide mentorship and technical leadership to development teams
Create and maintain architectural documentation, system diagrams, and technical roadmaps
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
7+ years of professional software development experience, including 2+ years in an architectural role
Strong knowledge of software design principles, patterns, and best practices
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)
Experience designing cloud-native applications (preferably on Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Familiarity with microservices architecture, API design, and distributed systems
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and modern DevOps practices
Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in enterprise software architecture
Working knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR)
Hands-on experience with database design, caching strategies, and messaging systems
Exposure to AI/ML, data platforms, or analytics architectures is a plus
