Software Engineer Position Available In Duval, Florida

Description We are seeking a talented and motivated Java Engineer with strong AWS cloud experience to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable backend services using Java and AWS technologies. You’ll work alongside cross-functional teams to deliver high-performing, cloud-native applications in a collaborative Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot + Deploy, manage, and scale applications using AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, SNS, SQS) + Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using best practices and modern development standards + Collaborate with front-end developers, architects, and DevOps engineers to build end-to-end solutions + Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline + Ensure security, reliability, and performance of cloud-native applications + Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and Agile ceremonies

Requirements Required Qualifications:

+ 4+ years of experience in Java software development + Strong experience with Spring Boot and RESTful API design + Hands-on expertise with AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.) + Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures + Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes a plus) + Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB) + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team

Preferred Skills:

+ Experience with microservices architecture + Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools + Exposure to message queues (Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ) + Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK Stack)
