Additionally, this individual will: Lead systems engineering efforts to develop a multi-year reference architecture roadmap. Identify and track system-level requirements and use cases, design new capabilities, and model and optimize current systems. Provide support and design for cloud and on-premise servers and systems, as well as network equipment, storage and backups Be a subject matter expert in both process and technology and will help train and mentor team members and contribute to reviewing and creating our policies and procedures. Our Collective Success Architectural Leadership:

Lead the design and implementation of scalable and efficient systems architecture. Provide technical leadership and guidance to the IT team in aligning technology solutions with business goals.

System Design and Implementation:

Design and implement complex systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and applications.

Technology Evaluation:

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the organization. Conduct technology evaluations and make recommendations for adoption.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Communicate architectural decisions and plans to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Performance Optimization:

Identify and address performance bottlenecks in existing systems. Implement best practices for system monitoring and optimization. The Background and Experience You Need to Support Success Bachelor’s degree (B. S.) or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical field; minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in systems architecture; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Desired:

Linux Certified Engineer or System Administrator (Red Hat, SuSE, Debian, etc) Certified Virtualization Administrator on platforms like vSphere, OpenStack, etc Professional certification as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, CCSP or similar Microsoft Azure Certification Required knowledge, skills and abilities: Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in systems architecture. History of leading technical teams to deliver scalable and flexible solutions. Systems architecture experience defining and documenting system designs, assessing tradeoffs of risks and performance requirements. Demonstrable experience evaluating infrastructure implementations to identify and mitigate issues related to performance (e.g., latency, throughput, resource requirements, etc.), scalability, and maintainability. Experience with Linux systems administration (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, etc) Experience with Docker and other container technologies Experience working within cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST 800-53, 800-171 and/or

ISO 27001.

Extensive experience with AWS cloud technologies.

Preferred skills:
