Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Developer to join our Center of Enablement team, supporting a strategic multi-year initiative to migrate Tier 1 legacy applications from mainframe systems to the cloud (AWS).
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Snowflake development and scripting, along with proficiency in Python and infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform. This role involves building out Infrastructure as Code (IoC) and supporting operational data services.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain data solutions on the Snowflake platform, including scripting and administrative tasks.
Support the migration of legacy applications to cloud-based infrastructure (AWS).
Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IoC) and services to support data operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and secure data architecture.
Utilize automation tools such as Terraform to streamline deployment and configuration.
Work with BI tools including Sigma, Looker, and Power BI to support data visualization and reporting.
Provide operational support and troubleshooting for Snowflake-based data services.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake development and scripting.
Proficiency in Python for data engineering and automation tasks.
Experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure automation tools.
Strong understanding of data infrastructure and the “nuts and bolts” of data services.
Familiarity with Linux environments and command-line operations.
Experience working in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
Preferred Qualifications:
SnowPro Certification (baseline certification preferred).
Experience with SAP CO systems.
Familiarity with BI tools such as Sigma, Looker, and Power BI.
Knowledge of cloud integration best practices and Snowflake administration.
Certifications:
SnowPro Certification (preferred).
