Eriksson Software is a structural engineering software company that specializes in automating the design and detailing of precast/prestressed concrete structures and their components. Our mission is to change the current engineering/detailing paradigm. Our goal is to help practicing engineers and enterprises embrace BIM and realize its full potential at all levels throughout the entire enterprise. We currently operate primarily in the United States with a small but growing penetration into international markets.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a talented and motivated software engineer to join our growing development team. In this role you will be instrumental in enhancing our existing suite of desktop applications and contributing to the development of new software, primarily leveraging your expertise in C# and WPF. You will have the opportunity to work with modern development practices and directly impact the user experience of our sophisticated engineering tools. While our core work supports the precast concrete industry, this role prioritizes strong C# / WPF development skills.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and high-performance desktop software solutions primarily utilizing C# and WPF. Build intuitive and responsive user interfaces using WPF. Collaborate closely with end users, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features for our C#-based applications. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices in C# and WPF development. Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues within our .NET applications. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in C#, .NET, WPF and software development. Integrate our desktop applications with various APIs and backend services as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework. Experience with WPF for desktop application development. A solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Points:
Experience working with the Revit API. Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). Understanding of BIM workflows and concepts.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$60,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
