USCitizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US SeniorDeveloper The Developer’s role is to develop and enhance in-housesoftware applications or extensions by coding with a technicallanguage to meet business requirements and business objectives.
This can includes taking technical specifications and developing anapplication or integration of data between applications, testing,as well as, completing the appropriate technical documentation. Thedeveloper will use best practices in software development andadhere to our client’s development standards, as well as, focus onquality and innovation. The developer may also be responsible fordelivering support to end users in the organization for specificcode, including troubleshooting code.
Responsibilities:
Participatein Agile teams Complete peer code reviews for quality andconsistency Identify and apply best practices to coding and testingMentor in coding best practices, configuration best practices,technical design and quality assurance Drive the development ofbusiness and technical process documentation and training materialsDrive the collection of required information to develop work scopearound solutions to attain business requirements along with dataneeds as required. Research/troubleshoot, maintain & configuresoftware, create test scripts and test applications and interfacesRecommend opportunities to lower testing costs or improve systemsquality through alternative staffing models (e.g., gig, offshore,3rd party) Maintain a working knowledge of Software CodeDevelopment leading practices and serve as a thought leader to theour client organization Report coding progress and outcomesCoordinate the work of other developers Drive the collection ofrequired information to develop work scope around solutions toattain business requirements along with data needs as required.
Collect and evaluate information, formulate as well as testhypothesis. Drive technical validity of solution. Mentor and coachothers Coordinate issues resolution activities with variedstakeholders Review entire problem logs and identify recurringproblems. Record projects status along with open issues every week.
Ensure to follow up on problems and process independently relatedto solutions engineering. Participate in seminars, trade shows, andoversee internal demonstration facilities etc. Develop meetingstructure and present at meetings Assess situations, determine theproblem(s) and propose a solution that provides value to thebusiness Perform code review to see whether standards are adheredto Drive business requirements as well-formed user stories andacceptance criteria Understand, communicate, and reinforce businessprocess concepts Establish and maintain relationships with teammembers within IT and across functional teams Assess situations,determine the problem(s) and propose a solution that provides valueto the business Skillset /
Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree orcombination of work and education experience 3 years in asoftware/application development or comparable experience Bigpicture thinking Strategic thinker
