Application Architect Primary Job Duties and Tasks:
  • Consultant will work under the direction of the Client’s designated project manager or the Lead Applications Development Supervisor.
  • Monitor and collaborate on Division of IT Information Systems Development Methodology (ISDM) compliance. Work products will be in the Client ISDM template format.
  • Provide software development programming estimates as directed.
  • Develop software applications in conformances with the adopted AHCA methodologies, standards and practices.
  • Develop and execute software test plans as directed.
  • Develop software and application documentation conforming to AHCA standards.
  • Participate as directed in activities under the direction of an AHCA IT Project Sponsorship, including the respective IT Team Lead and stakeholders.
  • Abide by AHCA security policies when accessing the AHCA’s buildings and systems.
  • Make recommendations toward the development of new code or reuse of existing code.
  • Participate in component and data architecture design, and performance monitoring. Review and confirm understanding of the interface layouts for Client’s business needs, and complete interface design, build, and unit test activities.
  • Create and maintain acceptance and production code migration scripts for all web and client server projects.
  • Work on pipeline and release processes using Azure DevOps.
  • Create and manage SQL queries and analyze data to respond to ad hoc requests, troubleshoot, test, or investigate anomalies.
  • Develop and execute software test plans as directed.
  • Develop process flows and system documentation conforming to AHCA standards as directed by the Agency.
  • Establish connectivity to other internal or external systems, as requested by the Agency.
