Location Northwest Full/Part Time Full-Time Exempt from Classified Service Yes Minimum Rate 103169.15 Min Pay Frequency Yearly Maximum Rate 170307.68 Max Pay Frequency Yearly Regular/Temporary Regular Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. A minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in developing and implementing IT initiatives, strategic planning and establishing business requirements is required. Additional related experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Recruitment Notes This is a key leadership position within the Department of Solid Waste Management and is responsible for overseeing all Information Technology needs and serving as the primary liaison between the Department of Solid Waste Management and the Information Technology Department. The incumbent in this position will be responsible for monitoring and managing the Service Level Agreement and Memorandum of Understanding with the Information Technology Department to ensure the timely delivery of technology services and solutions. This position entails providing strategic oversight of all technology-related initiatives, including requests and purchases of hardware, software, and wireless devices (e.g., phones, tablets). The incumbent in this position will be required to work closely with all operational units and leads pilot programs that incorporate emerging technologies into the Department of Solid Waste Management operations. In addition, this position will be tasked with supporting performance measurement and process improvement efforts to align technology systems with departmental goals.
