Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain EDI maps and data transformations using formats such as X12 and EDIFACT. Develop and maintain integration logic with ERP systems and API layers (e.g., SAP, Oracle or other custom ERPs). Script and automate processes for transforming, transmitting, and managing structured data. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define integration specs and troubleshoot data issues. Ensure reliability, scalability, and accuracy in all EDI and integration processes. Contribute to documentation and best practices for ongoing support and scalability.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
Experience:
2+ years in EDI development and systems integration, with a strong track record of building and maintaining robust, scalable solutions. Hands-on experience with EDI mapping tools such as BizTalk, Azure Logic Apps, Gentran, Sterling, Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Solid understanding of structured data formats like XML and JSON. Experience integrating with ERP systems and cloud-based API ecosystems. A problem-solver’s mindset with the technical chops to build clean, efficient solutions. Bonus points for experience in supply chain, logistics, or food distribution environments.
