Job Description
Fuel Cell Stack Developer – Miami, FL (Full-time) A position is open for a skilled development expert in the design and development of high-performance Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) stacks, with a focus on durability and manufacturability.
Base Salary:
$100,000
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed modeling and simulation of SOFC stacks to optimize performance and efficiency. Test and characterize SOFC stacks, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including materials scientists, system engineers, and manufacturing teams, to integrate SOFC stacks into complete fuel cell systems. Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of stack performance issues, implementing corrective actions as needed. Stay current with advancements in SOFC technology and incorporate relevant innovations into the design process. Apply strong understanding of electrochemistry, thermodynamics, and materials science as they relate to SOFC technology.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Ph.D. preferred. Proven experience in the design and development of Solid Oxide Fuel Cell stacks. Proficiency in modeling and simulation software (e.g., COMSOL, ANSYS) for fuel cell applications. How to
