Our client, an innovative leader in healthcare technology, is seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer who will lead a team of software developers in designing, implementing, and maintaining software applications. This role requires a blend of hands-on coding expertise and effective team leadership, overseeing the development process from conception to deployment in a high-volume SaaS environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing technical direction and support to ensure successful project delivery. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements, estimate timelines, and prioritize tasks. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, actively participating in the development and implementation of software solutions. Contribute to the design and architecture of software systems, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance. Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to best practices. Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, API specifications, and development guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 8+ years as a software engineer, with a strong background in software development and architecture. Expertise or proficiency in C# and modern web development technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React, Node.js). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies. Experience with Agile development methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
