We are seeking to join our team as a Senior Architectin our Miami and Ft. Meyers, FL office.

How willyou contribute to the team? Serve as architectural lead with full responsibility forinterpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating projectassignments with all design team members, Owner, andContractor. Lead coordination on resolving construction-relatedclarifications or revisions with the design team leads andsubconsultants. Perform on-site inspections of projects under construction toensure aesthetic value and quality construction. Conduct ongoing quality control checks, punchlists, and projectcloseout during construction with accuracy and completeness. Weekly internal project coordination meetings with internalstaff and subconsultants of varying disciplines. Weekly RFI, submittals, notice of variance review meetings withContractor and Owner. Weekly change order management meetings with Contractor andOwner. Weekly project progress meetings and on-site walkthroughs asneeded. QA/QC and Non-compliance review meetings with Contractor,Subcontractors, and Owner. Perform such other duties as the supervisor may from time totime deem necessary. Work involves planning and developing architectural projectsconcerned with unique or controversial problems that have animportant effect on major company programs.
What will youcontribute? Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; Master’s degree inArchitecture or graduate-level technical coursework preferred. Thislevel may be achieved by Architects with ten years of experiencesince Bachelor’s degree; or nine years of experience with Master’sdegree. Typical incumbent has fifteen or more years’experience. Registration as a licensed architect is required. Preferred candidate will have 8+ years of experience in allphases of aviation projects from schematic design throughconstruction administration and close-out, as well as demonstratedexperience with Construction Administration on large projects over$50M. Candidate will have experience with Autodesk Revit software,Procore, BIM 360, and Newforma. Strong technical writing and communication skills are expectedat this level, proven through technical presentations, technicalpapers, and/or participation in technical committees. May beeligible for project management training. Knowledge of constructioncodes and agency compliance. General competencies expected of all
