What you willdoWe are seeking a Senior Java Engineer with extensive experiencein Java, JVM, and financial services to join our dynamic team. Theideal candidate has a background working at a big bank or FAANGcompany and excels in a fast-paced environment. As a Senior JavaEngineer at Blankfactor, you will be a key contributor to thedevelopment and maintenance of our Java-based applications. Yourexpertise in Java development, software architecture, andproblem-solving will be instrumental in building robust, scalable,and high-performance software solutions.

Software Development:

Design, develop, and maintain Javaapplications, ensuring high code quality, performance, andscalability.

Architecture and Design:

Collaborate with cross-functionalteams to architect solutions that meet business requirements andadhere to best practices.

Code Review:

Participate in code reviews to maintain codequality, ensure adherence to coding standards, and mentor juniordevelopers.

Performance Optimization:

Identify and resolve performancebottlenecks, optimize code, and ensure the efficient utilization ofresources.

Unit Testing:

Write unit tests to validate the correctness andreliability of code, contributing to a robust testingframework.

Documentation:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of softwaredesigns, technical specifications, and implementation details.

Collaboration:

Work closely with product managers, designers,and other engineers to gather requirements, provide technicalinsights, and deliver solutions.

Continuous Learning:

Stay up-to-date with industry trends,emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance your skillsand contribute to the team’s growth.

Qualifications and TechProficiency Proven experience as a Java Engineer, with at least 5 years ofhands-on Java development. Strong proficiency in Java programming, including Java 8 orlater. Experience with Spring Framework and related technologies. Knowledge of design patterns, software architecture, andobject-oriented programming principles. Familiarity with database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and datamodeling. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience in financial services or working on paymentsplatforms is strongly preferred. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong english communication skills, both written and verbal(B2+). Experience working in an Agile development environment is aplus.
