JobDescriptionWe are seeking a talented Java Developer to join ourteam and work on a Murex Upgrade project with an anticipated enddate in Q2 2025. Potentially extend the project timeline by 1-3months based on project need.

Role and ResponsibilitiesWe arelooking for a highly skilled and autonomous Java Developer to focuson upgrading and maintaining the Java layer around the Murexinstance. This role is crucial as the Java layer acts as thegateway for all input and output operations within the Murexsystem. You will be working in a distributed team of 14 people, soeffective communication and the ability to work independently arekey. The onboarding process is well-established, with theexpectation that new team members will be fully operational withina week or two.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the Java layer around the Murex instance,ensuring seamless data flow. Collaborate with team members across various globaloffices. Work with the latest version of Murex, ensuring compatibilityand efficiency.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance orQuantitative Finance. 5+ years of relevant experience with Murex.

Java Expertise:

Strong experience in Java development,particularly in a financial services environment.

Murex Knowledge:

Recent experience with Murex, understandingits architecture and integration points.

Python:

Experience with Python is a plus.

Apache Camel:

Familiarity with the Apache Camel framework isadvantageous.

Autonomy:

Ability to work independently and efficiently withina distributed team.

Communication:

Strong communication skills to coordinate withteam members across different time zones.
