As a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer, you willplay a key role in the development and enhancement of our coreapplications. You will be responsible for working within anexisting codebase, ensuring the quality and scalability of thesystem, and contributing to new feature development. You shouldhave a strong background in RESTful APIs and PostgreSQL databases,along with a commitment to writing clean, maintainable, andwell-tested code.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and EnhanceExisting Codebase:

  Dive into our existing codebase to understandcurrent functionality and work on enhancing and optimizing theapplication

• Develop and Integrate RESTful APIs:

  Design,implement, and maintain RESTful APIs that are efficient, scalable,and secure

• Database Management:

  Work with PostgreSQL databases,ensuring data integrity, optimizing queries, and designing databaseschemas

• Code Quality and Testing:

  Write clean, maintainable, andefficient code. Implement automated tests to ensure the reliabilityand performance of the application

• Collaborate with

Team Members:

Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developersto deliver high-quality features on time•

Troubleshoot and Debug:

Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and other technicalchallenges as they arise•

Continuous Improvement:

Stay up-to-datewith industry trends and best practices to continuously improve thecodebase and development processes.

Requirements

• Experience:

  5+years of experience with Ruby on Rails

• API Development:

  Strongexperience in designing and developing RESTful APIs

• DatabaseSkills:

  Proficient in PostgreSQL, including database design,optimization, and complex queries

• Code Quality:

  A strongcommitment to writing clear, maintainable, and well-tested code

• Existing Codebase:

  Proven ability to quickly get up to speed withan existing codebase and make impactful contributions

Testing:

Experience with automated testing frameworks and methodologies

• Team Collaboration:

  Excellent communication skills and ateam-player mentality

• Location:

  Must be able to work on-site inMiami, FL.Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with otherprogramming languages and frameworks
