In the last 25-plus years,they?ve become the global market leader in set-top boxes and numberone in residential gateways in the U.S. Solutions Architect Austin, Texas and Miami, Florida (Remote position) As Solutions Architect you will lead design efforts that supportthe use cases of our client?s customers on a variety of projects,in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. Working intandem with the Business Analyst, you will capture all details thatare required by the different development teams to successfullydeliver the required solution. You will also represent the companyin technical discussions with third-party vendors. Working closelywith product owners, business analysts, product architects, userinterface designers and software engineers throughout the process,it will, ultimately, be your responsibility to ensure the developedsolutions address the needs of the customer. To qualify, you must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inComputer Science or a related field and be experienced withend-to-end systems and solution design. A thorough understanding ofLinux, the process of developing software for embedded devices,RESTful Web Services and databases, and redundancy and securityconcepts is essential. Familiarity with broadcasts systems andcontent and metadata distribution is a distinct advantage. You?llalso need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and anability to work independently and collaboratively. You must beskilled at communicating design rationale and building consensus,and be able to prioritize and manage work to meet critical projecttimelines.
