Standards Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Have effective oral and written communications skillsJobOverviewJob Duties & Responsibilities Efficiently executes the development, operational, andmaintenance activities of GCS systems and applications with thegoal of ensuring a reliable performance while meeting or exceedingsystems development and operational targets Executes assigned activities related to delivering GCS systems,applications, and emerging technology projects of varyingcomplexity Ensures GCS systems, applications and emerging technologiesmeet network architecture, operational, cyber security standardsand protection processes Develops strong relationships with business partners andcustomers (internal and external) to work on analyzing strategy andtrends to define the requirements, principles, and models thatguide technology decisions Understands industry trends and develops roadmaps through newtechnologies and approaches to fulfill strategic businessplans Coaches, mentors and leads technical subject matter experts toenable and drive consistency across technology architectures Assesses risks, selection and design of hardware and softwaretechnology and product standards, and coordinates necessary changesto GCS systems and applications through Change Managementprocess Designs and owns governance, availability, assurance, integrityand standards for enterprise technology architecture compliance inaccordance with FRCC, NERC, and FERC standards related to gridmonitoring and control systems, acting as a company representativeduring audits and data requests Participates in callout rotation, acting as the primary contactfor troubleshooting and operational processes within GCS,additionally supports with corresponding storm assignment andduties as well as storm dry run as required Executes Operational Excellence goals and initiatives, andhelps establish and maintain a process driven functional teamwithin the GCS organization Performs other job-related duties as assigned
