Full Job Description Position Objective:
The Client-Facing Developer will design and deliver technical solutions that meet client needs while serving as a key liaison between external stakeholders and internal teams. This role blends hands-on development with direct client interaction to ensure software products are effectively tailored, implemented, and supported.
Accountability:
The incumbent will report to the Chief Technology Officer.
Essential Functions:
Collaborate with customers to understand business and technical requirements. Design and implement custom features, workflows, and integrations using Ruby on Rails. Work cross-functionally with Solutions Management, Product Development, and Client Success teams. Write clear, maintainable code with an emphasis on reliability and reusability. Translate technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders, both internally and externally. Contribute to internal tools and documentation to streamline future client engagements. Advocate for the client internally by sharing insights and feedback to shape product direction. Troubleshoot technical issues in real time and provide thoughtful, scalable fixes. Provide technical support during onboarding, pilot phases, and escalations when needed. Must exhibit excellent skills in the following areas: verbal/written communication, computer/data entry/software proficiency, interpersonal and relationship-building skills, self-discipline, pro-activeness, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
3+ years of Rails experience Experience with React Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and interpersonal Familiarity with Git workflows, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum development. Comfort in a client-facing or collaborative environment with direct customer interaction. Previous development experience with a US healthcare related company
