Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to join the Project Risk Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python, with additional experience in Java and AWS. his role involves migrating from SaaS solutions and developing multiple internal applications using microservice architecture. The developer will play a key role in integrating and maintaining applications within the organization’s technical infrastructure and business processes. The position requires the ability to work independently while collaborating with Business Systems Analysts and project teams. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain new or existing systems that are reliable, efficient, and scalable.
Support migration from SaaS platforms by developing internal calculator applications.
Provide technical or functional guidance to project or work teams.
Collaborate closely with Business Systems Analysts to understand and implement business requirements.
Deploy applications to AWS Lambda and ECS using Docker; create and optimize Dockerfiles for deployment.
Develop and maintain REST APIs using FastAPI.
Create interactive data analytics dashboards using Panel.
Integrate FastAPI with Panel within an ECS environment to ensure a seamless user experience.
Interface with relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Amazon DynamoDB) databases; optimize schema design and queries.
Utilize time series databases for tracking and analyzing time-based data.
Operate independently with minimal supervision, using strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
3+ years of experience with Python development.
Experience with AWS services, particularly Lambda and ECS. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with API integration and RESTful service design.
Familiarity with Java for light development needs.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
