Architectural Team Lead
Job Summary:
The hands-on Architectural Team Lead is responsible for the big-picture concepts and developing innovative concepts and design elements as well as the day-to-day management of the high-performing Architectural team. Architectural design and documentation of the company’s 24/7/365 Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) infrastructure, ensuring the company meets its tight Service Level Agreements (SLAs), integration and documentation of new software, hardware, and circuit (MPLS, EPL, etc.) integration into the existing environments.
Viable candidates must reside in the state of Florida and be willing to travel to GSI’s headquarters in Palm Harbor, Florida, as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee all technical activities relating to architectural and engineering projects, including design changes
Present design proposals to the Tech Review Board and Senior Management
Meet with clients and other team members to design or resolve and integration issues
Assess potential projects for feasibility by researching and analyzing associated technology, design requirements, and governmental regulations
Remain up to date with current and trending elements of Network, Security, Systems, and Database technologies
Innovate and develop new standards, policies, and procedures for architectural design and engineering
Monitor operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities for improvement or revision
Works closely with the Director of Operations and CISO on planning and departmental projects.
Oversees and reports weekly monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics
Identifies trends and assesses opportunities to improve processes and execution
Raises and tracks issues, removes barriers, resolves problems of medium complexity involving stakeholders, and escalates to the appropriate level when required
Establishes and maintains credible, professional relationships with clients, internal business lines, and external vendors
Assess system performance and recommend improvements
Assist in the resolving complex issues escalated by technicians and engineers
Work Experience /
Knowledge:

Qualifications /
Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Experience in the labor market or regulatory occupation industries preferred
