About the Role We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to a wide range of internal and external projects. This role is hands-on and multifaceted—spanning development, testing, troubleshooting, integration, and support. If you’re passionate about industrial automation and have at least five years of relevant experience, we’d love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Collaborate in a team-oriented, open-office environment. Travel to customer sites as needed, sometimes for extended periods. Represent the company with professionalism in both demeanor and workmanship. Support and maintain systems involving servers, workstations, switches, and networking hardware. Work with server OS, virtualization, databases, and application components. Create clear technical documentation for manuals, submittals, and client communications. Interpret project specifications and follow directions with precision. Provide regular status updates and track work hours with detailed task descriptions. Ensure timely and successful project delivery. Conduct and document tests, procedures, and work instructions. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings accurately. Technical Skills & Experience Proficient in C#, ASP.NET, WPF, Python, Blazor, and web technologies. Experience with SQL and MongoDB, including stored procedures and reporting.
Skilled in SCADA platforms:
Ignition, Wonderware, FactoryTalk View, WinCC. Onsite experience with testing, troubleshooting, and supporting industrial automation systems. Strong knowledge of server/network hardware and industrial control system interfaces. Familiarity with PLC systems, system emulation, and factory acceptance testing. Understanding of secure development practices and safety protocols. Ability to produce accurate documentation for software design and operation. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of relevant work experience. Background in controls, industrial automation, and PLC. Familiarity with virtual commissioning, digital twins, and Emulate3D. Experience with industrial automation simulation tools.
