We strive in a diversity of projects ranging from rehabilitations to new construction. We specialize in commercial, residential, preservation, institutional, and industrial. We have designed churches, private schools, residences, corporate offices, restaurants, and manufacturing facilities.

Architect Position:

We are seeking a full-time registered architect, to join our team. Our ideal candidate is an established, hard-working young architect, coming from a management position within a design and production-oriented firm, that perhaps faces an environment lacking in opportunities for advancement. We are particularly interested in candidates who are comfortable in an outward-facing position, with client interaction and business development abilities displayed as second nature. The workday will generally be 40% production yourself, 60% management. Architect Duties and Responsibilities Assist other project managers in the development of a multitude of small to complex projects from early schematics through final construction documents Able to manage multiple projects in various phases. Performs work requiring independent judgment in evaluation, selection, and adaptation or modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex issues and supervisory approval on proposed project plans. Applies sound and diverse knowledge of architecture principles and practices in a broad array of assignments and related fields. Requires use of advanced techniques and modification/extension of theories, precepts, and practices of individual’s field. Manages and guides less experienced architectural staff in the development of projects. Fully develop document sets Coordinate work efforts with a team of graduate architects and all usual consultants. And other duties as assigned

Architect Requirements:

Architectural degree from an accredited School of Architecture Experience working in a professional team setting. Must be highly proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, (including Photoshop and InDesign) Excellent graphic and presentation skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Must be capable of autonomous work as well as team interaction. Must be highly motivated with good communication skills (we know everyone says this, but we mean it.) Must be comfortable working within a somewhat old-school structure The ideal team member should possess common sense with a good sense of humor and bowling skills. Be a nice person that likes other people! This is a full-time, in-office position

Architect Pay:

$ 120,000-140,000 annual salary, depending on skill level and experience Firm is entering a transitional phase, where the sole principal, with 27 years of experience as a firm owner, is moving towards retirement (2036 goal.) All mechanics are in place for transfer of ownership to worthy employees.
