Lead Java Full Stack Engineer Lead Java Full Stack Engineer Cognizant’s Digital Engineering We are seeking a Lead Java Full Stack Engineer with 8 + years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java Javascript and mySQL. This role requires demonstrated ability in Payer. The work model is hybrid with day shifts and no travel required.

Location:

Richmond – VA USA (Hybrid) •Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future•Responsibilities Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using AWS SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java Javascript and mySQL.
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and accurate bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment processes.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure optimal performance and security. Qualifications Possess strong expertise in AWS SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java Javascript and mySQL.
Demonstrate domain experience in Payer.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Have a solid understanding of software development best practices.
Show proficiency in designing and implementing scalable and maintainable code.
Display strong communication and collaboration skills.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until May 1st, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $97K – $140k depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
